_ « Messrs Barrand and Abraham received to-day, by the San Francisco mail, from their London agents, the following report, dated November 25th, on the recent N ovember sales : — The Fifth and last ! Series of Sales for the year, postponed from the 24th inst. in consequence of the prevalence of dence fog, commenced this eyening. Both Home and Foreign buyers were. Jargely represented. There was plenty of animation in the biddings, and prices for all descriptions may be quoted 5 to 7} per cent, higher as compared with the closing rates of our last Series. Quantities available for the Series : —
