Shocking Fatality

(per press association.) Dcnedin, December 28. An extraordinary fatality occurred at South Dunedm yesterday. A number of boys were engaged kite flying when a lad of 12 named Fiddis, son of a plumber, trod on the kite of another boy named Foggarty, aged about 13. Foggarty struck him a blow, knocking him down. Fiddis died very shortly afterwards. Foggarty has been arrested. Later. In connection with the death of the boy Fiddis, it appears he and Foggarty exchanged two or three blows. Fiddis was knocked down, but got up only to again go down, falling on his face. He never recovered, consciousness. Foggarty bas been released on bail.
