(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION,") Pakis, December 18. The directors of the Panama Canal Company who have been arrested, are confined in separate cells, and not al» lowed to see visitors. Fourteen vans were filled with docu« ments seized in the company's office. De Lesseps, senior, is ill, and has not been informed of the arrest of his son and the others. The Bourse is excited at the turn things have taken. Warrants have been issued for the arrest of 15 others implicated. Two deputies, MM. Cabriel and Arone, fought a duel over the affair, but aobody was killed.
