* MANCHESTER C.C. V. BULLS C.C. This match, was played at Bulls yester - day, and ended in a win for the visitors by 68 runs on the first innings. The re* suit was brought about through the excellent batting of Richards who scored 36 runs, and was well backed up by Parr with 13 and Eade who made 12 runs, combined with the capital form shown by Garratt with the ball, who took 5 wickets for 9 runs, and Richards who also captured 5 wickets at a cost of 14 runs. On going in a second time, the visitors only put together 26 runs, and Bulls had made 32 runs for 5 wickets when time was called. Hathawaj and Blundell were the most successful bowlers for Bulls, the former obtaining 7 wickets for 33 runs, and the latter 9 wickets at a cost of only 27 runs in the two innings of the Manchester Clnb. A very pleasant and enjoyable game thus terminated as mentioned above.
