George Thomas & Co. report produce prices as follows .—The week has been unerentful, and values are on a par with last quotations. We quote— Boiler floor, L9 los; stone do, L8 15s for sacks; whole fowls' wheat, 2s 5d to ; 2a 6d ; wheatmesl, L9 10s; prime short oati, 2* 2£d to 2s 4d ; fair to good feed, 2s to 2s 2d ; oaten sheaf chaff, 80s to 85s ; ; straw do. 55s to 60 ; oatmeal, farourite brands. 11s ; good whole maize, 3s ; feed barley, 2s 6d; pearl barley, Ll6; Derwent potatoes, 30s to 35s (it is now getting late for this line, and the condition oannpt be depended on) ; onions are now out of the market ; prime factory cheese. '&& I hams and bacon, factory cure, 6|d, in equal numbers ; bacon, 6f d ; hams, BJd ; eggs hare improved considerable, owing to short supply, and are fully worth 9|d to lOd per doz ; fresh batter, dull at 7d to 8d ; salt do, 9d to lOd ; fowls, 3s 6d ; docks, 4s; turkeys, 7s ; and geese, 6s per pair ; new potatoes,- round 6a ; kidneys, 75. ; rhubarb, 5s doz ; gooseberries, 5s per half ease ; and green peas,' 8d to 9d.

The well known shearer, Mr J. Howe, says the Barcoo Independent ot the 10th October has accomplished some phenomenal (tallies at Alice Downs this year. For the week ended Saturday last he was credited with 1,436, or a daily average for five and a half days of about 261. On Monday the 10th, he sheared 821. lambs, all large frames.
