(PER PREBS ASSOCIATION.) Woodville, November 23. Dr Menzies, of the Napter Hospital, was called and stated he had examined Mrs Hall previous to her visiting Syms. On the facts stated to have been given in evidence an illegal oparation had been performed, and there could be no other explanation. No medical man would think of doing such a thing. Mr Haggen, journalist, gave evidence as to what he had learned from Dr Milne, and as to the other evidence on which he had written the article for which he -was imprisoned for libel. The object of the article was to have an enquiry, and he still contended it was necessary.
