Chbistchubch, This Day. Seventy three tradesmen, including some of the leading firms, have signed an agreement to close on Thursday afternoons.
(special to star.) Wanganui, This Day. The Dampier Company are still doing magnificent business here. They played the principal scenes and acts from "Hamlet" and "Borneo and Juliet" last night and finish to-night, opening in Mai-ton on Monday and Tuesday, Bulls on Wednesday and Thursday, and in Peildiug on Friday and Saturday, When " The Royal Pardon " was played here, the audience cheered till the applause was deafening.
