PAINFUL SCENE IN COURT. ' PER PRESS ASSOCIATION). Sydnky, November 16, There was a painful scene in the Coroner's Court to-day during the inquest upon the baby farming cases. Clarice Makin, a girl of 17, was examined, and declared she was unable to identify the clothing. During her evidence the three female prisoners sobbed hysterically. As Mrs Makin was coming into the Court after lunch, she cried out, ' May the curse of the Almighty fall on that child,' indicating the witness. The female prisoners had to leave the Court owing to. their hysterical condition. Clarice then said she would tell the whole truth, and identified the clothing.
