■ • A reward is oftered for the recovery of a black and tan sheep dog, lost from Waituna. The furniture and effects of Mr "W. Reading, who is leaving the district, will be sold by public auction on Monday next. Messrs Stevens and Gorton are the auctioneers. Mr L. Holden adyertises as running on his farm, at Makiuo, a bay mare come astray. This mare was advertised a month ago. Since then her brands have become more distinct and they are given in the advertisement. Cobbe and Darragh have bought, much under regular prices, ninety Ladies' and Children's Sunshades— all London samples. Prices range from 9d to 18/6. — Advt. It is certainly worth while to spend your cash at Shearer's Furniture Warehouse, where there is a well-assorted stock to chose from. He gives a liberal discount, and a free guess in the Pea Competition for every 5s cash spent. — Advt.
