*. A meeting of the committee of the * above was held at Mr Wollerman's Man- r Chester Hotel on Saturday last. Nearly \ all the members were present. B After the usual formal business, thejques- ] tion of the date fixed for the Spring Show was again opened. After full discussion { it was decided that the interests of the ( Society would be promoted considerably £ if the time at the disposal of intending ( exhibitors were extended to Friday, De- 4 cember 2nd. A resolution was passed in- ] structing the secretary to send post cards ( to all persons who had received schedules, i advising them of the change, and that it ] would be adyertised in the Feilding t Star. Mr F. Y. Lethbridge was appointed \ judge of the produce, and Mr Mayo judge x of the flowers, planks, &c. ] The Feilding String Band will be in- j vited to give their services on the evening j of the show. ■, Me WQllerjuftu reported that be had re., ]
ceived special prizes up to the total yalue of £6. * The appointment of the stage committee was left over until the next meeting of the committee, which was appointed to be held at Mr Light's Denbigh Hotel on Saturday, the 19th inst.
