A Rifle Club for Feilding

A meeting with the above object in yiew was held at the Manchester 'Hotel yesterday evening. Present—Messrs C. Brayjunr. (chairman), T. Evans, Bilderbeck, Scott, (t. and F. Saywell; Thomson, Allan, and G. Fowles, , Mr G. Say well proposed, and Mr Evans seconded, that a Martini-Henry Rifle Club be formed in Feildmg.—Carried. In addition to those" gentlemen present, the following names were mentioned as certain to join the Club viz Messrs Owen Fleasants and T. J. Evans, Proposed by Mr Thomson, seconded by Mr Saywell, that those present, form a committee, to canvasi, for members, and that a meeting be held on Friday evening next, to receive the report of the committee, and farther that all gentle* men desirous of becoming members, be requested to attend such meeting, t Carried. This concluded the business, and the meeting adjourned till Friday next.
