It is feared that the disaster will result in a famine, and that quite a million will die of starvation. Bomb, October 24. The floods in Sardinia continue, and five villages in the vicinity of Sanaperti are submerged. Several hundred people have been drowned, and thousands of sheep aud cattle lost.
