Kiwitea Road Board

This Day. The usual monthly meeting of this Board was held to-day. Present —Messrs Taylor (chairman), Morton, Homer, Jones and Williamson. The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed. The following correspondence was dealt with. Telegrams from Crown Lands Office, stating that the schedule showing thirds due to the Board will be ready before the next meeting. From W. A. Sandilands, re slips on the roadway adjoining Mr Lowes property at Birmingham, and requesting the Board either to re-erect the fencing destroyed or to compensate his client for the damage done. From J". J. Paulin, Sandon Small Farm Block, asking the Board if it is prepared to sell or lease the gravel reserve fronting section 31 on the Mangamako road. From J. F. W. Hogg, re the cutting on the Kiwitea cross road, and requesting that it may be continued another 18 chains further, to enable him to obtain access to his property. From the following, requesting permission to fall bush on road line froqting their respective sections. A. E. Whitehead, section 9 block 8, Ongo district ; Thomas Chim, for section 187, 138, and 139 in the Rangiwahia township ; E. P. Mason, tor sections 9 and U, McClaren street, Kiwitea ; W. S.
