Heavy Gale at Wellington
(PEH PBBSS ASSOCIATION). Wellington, This Day. The fiercest northerly gale for some years has been raging all night. Fences, hoardings, windows etc, are much damaged, and some of the boats ia harbour were knocked about. Neither the boating nor the cricket seasons can be opened. It is still raining and blowing hard. The Governor has altered his arrangements again and will now be accompanied north by the Hon. Mr Beeves.
