(per press association. I London October 8. At the Kempton Park meeting yesterday the Great Breeders' Produce Stakes resulted as follows : — Tenderagee, 1 ; Le Nicham. 2 ; Minting Queen, 3. Melboubne, October 8. The V.A.T.C. spring meeting opened to-day. Results : — Caulfield Stakes. — Camoola, 14lbs penalty 1; Spokesman, 2; G'Naroo, 3. Caulfield Guineas.— Autonomy, 1 ; Azim, 3; Mcli, 3. Steeplechase.— Pilot, 1; Freeman, 2; Password, 3. Torak Handicap. — Fortunatus, 1 ; Lin* burn, 2; Hartington, 3. October 10. At Flemington this morning, St Albans, looking bright and well, put in a good gallop. At Caulfield, Glenloth, G'Naroo, Alexander, Sterncliaser, TiraiU leur, and Dundas, all looking well did sound work. Glenloth appears all the better for his gallop on Saturday, Ulric has come into great demand for the Caulfield Cup, being so heavily backed during the day. For the V.R.C. Derby Camoola has hardened to 2 to 1, The following scratching* are posted : — Caulfield Cup — Danton, Playmate, Golden King, Fernando, Sir John, Greß^ ford, Dillon, Steadfast, Vakeel, Tirailleur, Captain Webb, Ruenalf, Daniel and Oxide. Melbourne Cup. — Fernando, Dundas, and Blarneystone. NAPIER RACES. (PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Napier, This Day. A slight shower of rain fell before the first race, but the weather cleared again. Following are the results : — Trial Hurdlbs. — Worth, 1 ; Chester, i 2 ; Othello, 3. Aorere was scratched, Caloola ran off. Won by a clear length and a half. Time, 3 34 l-ssec. Dividend, L 4 4s. Criterion Stakes. — Rebellion, 1 ; St. Malo, 2 ; Wyvern, 3. King George and Kathleen were scratched. Won by half a length.
