I It will be interesting to wool growers in these colonies to learn that there is a growing agitation in France against the present very oppressive protective tariff in that country especially as far as it effects wool. As there is generally a strong sympathy in America with France as regards matters of trade, we may now hope that the United States will follow this very excellent lead, and agitate until the de sired end is attained in both countries.
