•■ (PEE PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Palmebston Nobth, October 8. Mr R. 8. Abraham reports:— l offered about forty horses to-day, of which the greater number were disposed of under the hammer or afterwards. The demand was rather slack, and we turned out a larger number than usual unsold. We quote as follows :— On behalf of Mr R. Stevens.— Well-bred hacks, £10 to £13 10s ; Punn filly, 2-years, £8. On account of other vendors — Harness horses, £8 10s. to £15 ; upstanding hacks, £9 10s to £11 ; others, £4 to £7. Our next sale will be held on the 29th mst.
