(PEB PEESS ASSOCIATION). Wellington, September 27. Sir Patrick Buckley moved the reading of the Industrial Conciliation Bill. The secoud reading was agreed to on the voices, and the Bill referred to the Labour Bills Committee. The Land Bill was considered in Committee. Clause 87 — Disqualifying married women from selecting land — was struck out by 9 to 6. The Hon. Mr Ormond moved a clause to enable a person to take up 2000 acres for himself and 1000 acres each for three of his children under the age of 17 years.
