— ♦_ — _ Fresh oysters at Clementaon's to-night. Messrs Laery and Co., of Wellington, are buyers of prime samples of cocksfoot. Tenders are invited by Mr James Saxelby, of Waituna, for felling eighty acres of bush. Entries for Messrs F. B. Jackson aud Co.'s sale at Palmerston on the 22nd instant are published to-day. Notice is given that Edmund Lloyd the the selector of section 4, Block XIV, Pohangina, has applied to transfer the same to Bengamin Poole. Mr H. Rutherford notifies in another column that all accounts owing to him after the 30th September will be sued for without further notice. On Saturday next Mr J. B. Montague will hold a great sale of unredeemed pledges in the Central Auction Mart, Palmerston North. See advertisement.
