The two principal events are as follows : — Metropolitan Handicap, 1A miles. — Althotas, 1 ; Vespasia, 2 ; Selkirk, 3. Time, 2min 36£secs. A.J.C. Oaks, H miles.— Trieste, 1; Mascara, 2 ; Queensborough, 3. Chbistchukch, September 13. At the sale of racehorses yesterday, Merrie England was bought by Mr Masgrove for 200 guineas.
