■♦ Messrs Freeman JR. Jackson report on their Palmerston sale last Thursday :— Our entry of stock was rather a small one, but bidding was brisk throughout, and almost everything sold at auction. Cattle— Empty cows, £4 17s ; fat cows, £5 ; milch cows. £4 12s 6d to £6 10s ; weaners, 325 ; 2«year-old mixed cattle, £3 6s. Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co. report as follows upon their Feilding sale held yesterday. — There was a very good attendance, a large lot of cattle came forward and erery pen sold well. We quote :— Cattle. — Large bullocks, £4 18s 6d ; 2|-year steers, £4 5s ; cows. £3 10s to £3 17s ; 18 month to 2-year-old, £3 Is ; yearlings, 37s 6d to 425. Sheep.— Mixed hoggets 10s 8d ; dry ewes, 10s 2d. ,
