Feilding Borough Council
The election of three members to fill the vacancies in the Council took place on Thursday last. There was not much general interest taktn in the proceedings, which passed off very quietly. Two hundred and three votes were recorded during the day. The following are the official figures :— J. C. Morey, 176 ; W. A. Sandilands, 130 ; G. W Fowlea, 80 ; W. G. Shearer, 71 ; J. Taylor, 43 ; John Hicks, 39. The first three were elected.
