,> LPIB UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION. j Wellington, This Day, The Government will grant 200 rounds 1 of Martini ammunition, free, to each man going to the N.S.W. Rifle Association, but will not organise a team for the Intercolonial match. The Union Steam Company will grant return passages at single rates, the fare from Wellington being seven pounds. Entries for all matches cost £'d 6s, and rations in Sydney 30s per week. Intending competitors should acquaint Major Somerville, Wanganui, without delay, and practice ammunition will be forwarded. The men should leave not later than the Bth of October, and the trip will take 28 days. The New Zealand entries can be made on arrival in Sydney.
