Hokitika, September 6. The Conlou poisoning case was on all day in the Supreme Court. The motive for the crime in the theory of the prosecution broke down. The Judge summed up very strongly in favour of the accused, esp. cially pointing out. the absence of any apparent motive. The jury returned a verdict of not guilty.
