i _^_ Messrs F, R. Jackson and Co. report as follows : — At Waverley all stock »oid briskly at ruling rates. At Wan« ganui the yards were quite full with useful cattle, We sold a large lot of cattle, but in some cases reserves were too high. -Sheep were well competed for at ruling prices, hoggets being most in demand. There is no alteration in the price of pigs. Cattle.— At Waverley: Steers, £2 17s ; cows, £3 3s ; weaners, 31s: milch cows, £6 10s. At Wanganui : Fat cows, £4 15s to £5 16s ; fat bullocks, £5 to £5 ss ; bullocks, £4 5s to £4 18s ; 18'Uiontli steers, £2 16s to £2 18s 6d ; 2 to 3-year-old steers, £3 4s to £3 13s; 18-month mixed steers and heifers, 35s ; 18»month heifers, L2 12s 6d ; mixed cattle, L2 17s (id to L3 3s ; weaners, 255 ; yearlings, 30s to 33s and 39s to L2 12 6d ; cows in calf, L3 5s to L3 15s. Sheep. — At Waverley: Wethers. 13s 6d ; hoggets, 7s to 8s 10|d and 10s Gd to 128 4d At Wangnnui : Wethers brought 13s 7d and 13s 9d ; fat wethers, 15s 4d 15 7d, and 16s 9d ; mixed hoggets, 12s lOd and lis ; mixed culls, 9s 9d. Pigs. — At Waverley : Porkers, 12s 6d small pigs. 4s to ss. At Wanganui : Baconers, 19s 6d to 36s : porkers, 8s to 10s ; small pjgs, 3s to ss.
