Borough Elections
«- The election to fill the three vacancies in the Borough Council took place to-day. Contrary to expectation very Jittle active interest was displayed either by the candidates or by the ratepayers up to the time we went to press, but no doubt as the hour for closing the poll approaches there will be a change for the better. At three o'clock about 114 votes had been recorded.
