The conditions upon which the Me Kelvie cup are to be competed for are as follows:— Mr MoKelvio's cup is open to competition amongst the bona fide junior football clubs only in the Manawatu Union district. It has to be won two yeara in intervals. Unless otherwise arranged, the fixtures as appointed by the Union count as matches for this cup. For this season the contest lay between Bulls, Awahuri. Hunterviile, Pirates Kahas as being the only bona fide junior clubs. The Welhnjjtonrepresentatires met the Wairarapii team at Master ton on Saturday and won the match by 20 points to 4* In the Canterbury v. Hawkes' Bay match, played at K a pier on Saturday last, the former" were victorious by 11 points to 2. Messrs Cameron (Bulls), Seddon (Pirates), Hankins (Km Kaha), Nelson (Palmerston), and White (Feilding) met at Awuhuri on Sat ur. lay evening and picked two junior representative teams to try conclusions at Palmerston on Saturday next, in view of the matcii with the Wellington juniors. A final selection will be made on Saturday night, and any player failing to put in an appearance on Saturday will be excluded. Probables— Full«Buck.
