There is no room for proper attendance, and the patients' clothes cannot be removed. The bedding is iusumcient, and in a filthy condition. In one room 200 corpses were lying mingled with the living. Schools are being conyerted into hospitals. Amsterdam, August 31. A fatal case of cholera is reported from Groningen, capital of one of the northeastern provinces. Teheran, September 31. The choleraic epidemic is decreasing in the city and tho death rate has fallen to 200 daily. Berlin, August 31. The hospitals in Hamburg continue in a frightful condition. Patients unkuown are brought in and die and their deaths are not recorded. The available medical assistence is inadequate to cope with the alarming increase of the cases. The Goyernmeut havo voted half a million marks to assist iv coping with the disease.
