_ + (PK.K PRESS ASSOCIATION.) London, August 13. The Marquis of Salisbury waited on th< Queen at Osborne to-day and formally handed in the resignation of the Govern lnent. The Standard asserts that the followinj will be portfolios in the new Government — Sir William Harcourt, Chancellor o the Exchequer ; Lord Rosebery, Secre tary of Foreign Affairs ; Hon. J. Morley Secretary for Ireland : Mr Henry Camp bell Baa lerruan, Minister of War ; thi Earl of Kimberley, Secretary for tin Colonies ; Mr H. H. Fowler, Hotm Secretary ; the Marquis of Hipon, Secre tary for India ; the Earl of Aberdeen Lord Lieutenant of Ireland. Mr Labou chere will be attached to the Home Office but will not have a seat in the Cabinet. Mr Gladstone has received a Roya summons to attend at Osborne. Mr Gladstone will formally meet thi House of Commons on Thursday next. August 14. The French press unanimously expres satisfaction with the result of Thursday 1 division. The financial papers assert that th Egyptian bondholder! will be quite eas; if Lord Bosebery becomes Foreign Secre tary. ______ ___
