Freeman R. Jackson & Co. report on their Feildiug sale yesterday as follows : — The yards were fairly well filled with good stock. Bidding was brisk, and all lines, with the exception of oue of hoggots were all sold. The heifers made £3 14s 6d ; weaners, 35s to 40s ; steers, £4 Is Id. For hoggets a large entry came forward, they brought from 7s 9d to 10s 3d ; ewes, 9s to 10g 6d ; wethers, 11s to 12s 3d. Messrs Lowes and lorns, of Masterton, report on their stock sales as follows : — Although the entries on Thurday were not very numerous, the stock was generally of a good quality the attendance was large and the sale throughtout very animated. Fat stock in both cattle and sheep reaching the top price of the season in this district. Bullocks— ranging from 7s 6<J to 15s ; cow, £5 2s 6d to £J ', two and three-year-old 6teers, 75s to £b ; Store cows, 52s to 70; dairy cows, 70s to 82s 6d ; two and three year-old heifers , 58s ; yearlings, 355 ; weaners, 255. Sheep Fat wethers, a good line, not heavy weights but well woolled, bought from 158 7d to 168 ; light weights, 12s 6d and 12s 9d ; no entries of ewes worth quoting. We had a pretty large entry of horses of all descriptions, but very few sold at prices entirely in favour of buyers. In pigs, nothing but young ones, forward weaners bringing from 5s to 10s 6d.
