Bulls, July 30. Messrs Stevens and Gorton report : — We had a very spirited sheep sale at Feilding yesterday. Large entries came forward, and nearly every line was sold under the hammer. Very few cattle were yarded, but what there were sold well. Our quotations are : — Cattle.— Milkers, £5 4s; cows, £3 to £3 17s 6d. Sheep. — Good young ewes in lamb, 13s to 14s 6d ; old ewes in lamb, 5s to 9s ; hoggets, various prices from 8s 2d to 10s 2d.
