Worsfold ; duet, " Fairy Queen," the Misses Drew and Wollerman; song, " Take back the Heart," Mrs Marsom ; violin solo, "De Benots' oth Air," Mr Kitcheu ; song, " Big Ben," Mr Williamson ; violin solo, " Selection from Scotch Airs," Mr Martin, who was encored ; piano solo, " Les Hirondelles," Miss Hamilton ; song, " Anchored," Mr Dixon ; song (comic), " Fifteen Shillings," Mr Keen, who gave aa an encore, " Sister Mary walks like this," ; song, " Fiddle and I," Miss Bellve, who was accompanied by Miss E. Bellve on the • piano, and Mr Kitchen on the violin. The second part commenced with an overture by the orchestra, which was very well played. The Dark Town Fire Brigade amused the audience with the witty jokes between the corner men and centre man, and with songs by yarious members of the troupe, all of which were well receiyed. The entertainment con eluded with the farce " Irish Justice," which was well played by those taking part in it, and caused roars of laughter. Messrs Keen and Fraser acted the principal parts yery cleverly. Miss Hamilton's piano solo was well played, and Mr Kitchen's yiolin solo was excellently rendered. Miss Bellye played tho accompaniments with her usual taste. Messrs Kitchen and Keen worked hard iv their respective capacities as leader of the orchestra and chief of tne minstrel troupe, as did those gentlemen who had the getting up of the concert. There was a tolerably fair house, but not so good as the entertainment warranted, still, after all expeuses are paid, there should be a balance to baud over to the funds of the Fire Brigade. Mr Osborne, Chairman of the Feildmg Employes Association, apologised on account of the indisposition of some of the gentlemen who intended to take part in the entertainment. He also stated the objects of the Association, and said that at any time the members would be willing to assist with their services m any charitable object.
