|_PEE PBESS ASSOCIATION.] Rome, July 16. Mount Vesuvius has broken out in eruption. Moun Etna is hurling stones 1000 feet high, and tho streams of laya are devastating the country within two miles of Nicolosi, a town situated on the south side of the mountain. July 18. The lava from Mount Etna has destroyed several houses in the village of Veriatura, and burned the adjacent forest of chestnuts.
