The • cw Zealand Loan and Mcrcan lilc Agency Company, L mited. report on the produce markets for the week ending Thursday, 7th July, ns follows :- Wool.— Our London manner cables us under date 6th inst regarding the London sales now in progress as follows : —Since date of oar last cablegram the wool market is unchanged except medium lo good greasy crossbred, the market for which is slightly weaker. The sale programme has been curtailed four days, to finish sth July. There is moderate competition on French account now. Ihe total quantity catalogued to date is 250,000 bales, of which 22,000 bales have been withdrawn. Sheepskins.— The demand during the week has been very brisk, and all brought forward, consistiDg principally of medium to heavy gr«?i»n crossbreds, met with ready gale at late rates. We quote 4* to os 4d for green cro«sbreds ; country skins, 3d to skd perlb. Tallow and Fat.— There is an excellent demand for all lines of good country talow, notwiili*t.imlin» the unfavourable iews regarding London market, and all ■onsinumenls are rradily disposed of at he following rates, viz -.—lnterior to ;ood, 16s to 20s : rough fat, 12s to 13s. ' Hides, -We placed all consignments eceived during the week at late rates. Oats.— Owing to the rough weather etarding deliveries, and keen demand in he southern markets, this ceieal kas'ad/anced m price, and we have placed some large parcels durng the week at advanced rates. We quote Is lid to 2s Id for feed descriptions ; prime seed, 2s 5d to 2s 6d. Wheat. — There is somewhat more en» quiry for good whole fowl wheat, aU though prices show no al'eration, viz, 2s 9d to' 3s. Frozen Meat.— Our London manager cables as follows : — Mutton «nd lamb markets weaker, and prices have declined peril' sinca last repord. New Zealand beef— There is rather better demand, but quotations are unchanged since last telegram.
