Ceremony at St. Bridget's Church

+ A special seryice was held at St Bridget's Roman Catholic Church, Feilding, on Sunday last, when the ceremony of unveiling the three memorial windows presented by Mr Ronald Cameron in memory of his late wife took place. The windows were imported from Ireland and were the work of Messrs Orr Bros, of Belfast. They are beautiful specimens of artistic work and a decided ornament to the church. Mass was celebrated at 11 a.m. by the Rev Father Patterson, of Palmerston, who made a few appropriate remarks in which he praised Mr Cameron for his thoughtful generosity and pointed out what an excellent example it was to the congregation. The Palmeretou choir came over specially for the occasion and added greatly to the itnpressiveness of the ceremony by the satisfactory manner in which the musical portion was rendered. At 3 p.m. reapers were sung and benediction given, the choir again assist* ing at this service. The Rev Father Patteraon preached an able and interesting sermon on the subject "Is the Catholic Church the true Church." The attendances wore exceptionally large at both services, numbers of people being present from a considerable distance.
