The New Zealand Loan and Mercan* tile Agency Company, Limited, report on the produce markets for the week ending Wednesday, 25th May, as follows: — Sheepskins continue in active request, and all parcels brought forward during the week meet with ready sale nt late rales, viz:— Green crossbredx, 3s lOd to 4s 8d ; dry skins, 4d to od per Ib. Tallow and Fat.— We repeat last I quotations, viz : — Inferior to good, 16s to 19s ; rough fat, 12s to 13s per cwt. Good demand for all on offer. Hidbs. — No quotable alteration in prices to record. Oats.— This market continues firm, owing to prices ruling in the South. We quote Is 9d to Is lid, according to quality. Wheat. — Good whole wheat is moving off at 2s 8d to 3s. Hemp— We regret to say that the siiuation remains without alteration. Cable advices from London and America advise drooping markets, and the prospect of immediate improvement is anything but hopeful Our London office quote medium quality at £19 per ton there. Frozen Meat— Our London manager cables : — 'Beef market dull. Quotations have declined £d per lb. Mutton market weaker, and prices have declined -|d per lb. Lamb market firmer, and prices have advanced £d per lb
