The English and American Wheat Crops

New Yobk, May 16The American crops are in a backward state, and it is estimated there will be a decrease in yield in the seven chief states of twenty million bushels. The Times says that all the English crops are in a backward state owing to the drought, aud the situation is critical. The Standard says there is little chance of the wheat yield in England consisting of anything but passable quality.
