Great interest is beingiaken in the tug-of-war contests now being held in Wellington. The following is the position of of the teams : —
Tlie following teams have been entered for the Tug-of-War which begins at the Opera House on Tuesday next : — Native, Welsh, English, Irish. New Zealanders, Australians, Scotch, Germans, Chinese, and Scandinavians.
