Hemp is depressed, and no New Zealand shipments have been offered for sale of late. Wool is unchanged. The third series is limited to 425,000 bales. The quantity for the fourth series, which begin on the 16th September, is unlimited. The date of the fifth series is not yet fixed, but the list closes on November 22. At the wool sales, inferior to average quality of greasy merinos are weaker. The present series close on 3rd May.
