Feilding Fire Brigade

A meeting of the above was held at their station last night, Lieut. Shearer in the chair. It was decided to commemorate the anniversary of the Brigade on the 24th of May, and a committee was appointed, to report at the next meeting. Captain Morey sent in his^ resignation on account of his health, which was accepted with deep regret, as while he has been in office he has proved to be an energetic officer, and has won the respect of all the members of the Brigade. After Captain Morey's resignation was accepted he was elected an honorary member of the Brigade. The meeting then adjourned.
