(per press association. London, March 26. The Grand National Steeplechase of 1000 soys. was run at Liverpool to-day, with the following result : — Father O'Flynn, 1 ; Cloister, 2 ; Ilex, 3. Sydney, March 26. The Eosehill Cup (handicap), of 500 soys., was run to-day, and resulted as follows :— Bungebah, 1 ; Helene, 2 ; Tridentine, 3. This Day. Marvolio and Correze have been scratched for the Sydney Cup.
New Plymouth, March 28. The following acceptances have been received for the Taranaki Jockey Club's meeting : — T.J.C. Handicap. — The Dreamer, Scot Free, Durus, Prestige, Krina, Lochness, Whisper, St. Malo, \Veka, and Awarna Rose. Welter. — The Dreamer, Flefca, Torpedo, Melas, St. Malo, Musket, and Tulloch. Flying. — Heatherbell, Cretonne, Torpedo, Phormium Tenax, Prestige, Lochness, Weka, Snapcap, and Tit. Bracelet. — The Dreamer, Durus, Tattler, and Melas.
