» . The return tennis match between Palmerston and Feilding will take place on Saturday next on the ground of the former, two ladies and four gentlemen a-side. Play will commence at 1.80 p.m. In the second round for the gentlemen's Handicap Singles Dyer (5) beat Barton (scratch), 100-92 ; Coote (10) beat Scale (45), 100-88. Third round to play as follows :— Lance (7) plays Coote (10), Dyer (5) a bye. In the first round of the Handicap Mixed Doubles, Miss Koch and Mr Lance (scratch) beat Mrs Hadow and Mr Scale (20), 50-49 ; Miss Pry and Mr Coote (18) beat Mrs C, Fitzhertbert and Mr Barton (18), 50-40 ; Miss Wilks and Mr Strachan (24) beat Miss Haynes and Mr Richmond (28), 50-48 ; Mrs Barton and Mr Dyer (20) beat Mrs Macarthur and Mr Hadow, 50-39. Second round to play as follows : — Miss Koch and Mr Lance (scratch) play Mrs Barton and Mr Djer (20), Miss Fry and Mr Coote (18) play Miss Wilks and Mr Strachan (24). !
