The British forces stormed some villages belonging to the Kacchyins, 'in Northern Burmah, with a loss of six killed and wounded. The enemy's loss was heavy. St. Pjeteesbubg, March 7. An attempt, to throw a package into the carriage occupied by the Czar and Czarina failed. It is supposed the package contained some explosive. Washington. March 7. Another outrage upon Negros is reported from Kentucky, where the whites killed three coloured men and wounded four others.
