Additions are made to-day to Messrs Stevens and Gorton's Feilding sale. The Commissioner of Crown Lands advertises important land sales to-day. Mr A. Tenders are invited by Mr W. H. Holmes, Eesident Engineer, Manganoho, Hunteryille, for the supply of 10,000 ' sleepers for the North Island Main Trunk Kailway. Browne, of the Occidental Hotel Stables, Palmorston North, notifies , iv another column that he has taken oyor , tho well-known aud popular stables attachod to the Royal Hotel, and is now conducting both businesses. Mr Browne is very popular on this coast with travellers and others, and we have no doubt he will meet with the success his enterprise deserves.
