A lost bunch of keys is advertised for. Two good situations are advertised in our wanted column. A lost sheep dog is advertised for by Mr G. E. Little, Makino. The programme for the Ashurst Athletic Sports, to be held on St. Patrick's day, is published to-day. Numerous additions are made to-day to Messrs Stevens and Gorton's entries' for their sale at Palmerston. Mr W. Trimble will hold an auction sale of stock at Halcombe to-morrow and at Birmingham on Tuesday the 9th inst. A slight alteration is made to-day in the advertisement of the Colonists Political Association. Messrs Roe Bros , of Kawa Kawa, want about 10 acres of land ploughed, disc harrowed, aud sown in turnips. For other particulars see advertisement. To-day Mr Larcomb, architect, invites tenders for the erection of a hotel building in Feilding. The plans and specifications will be on yiew at the office of Mr Bray, Manchester street, until Monday next, after which they will be on view at the' office of the architect, Palmersron North. Notice is given of the transfer of section 36, block XIII, survey district of Apiti from E. Jones to A. W. H. Wicks. Parents and guardians of intending pupils at the Wellington College are requested to note the advertisement to-day, from the Secretary, Mr Chas. P. Powles. The summer sale commencing on Saturday, January 30th, and intended for the disposal of the balance of the summer stock promises to be one of the most successful ever held at Te Aro House, Wellington. Thr summer sale will present to all visitors a wonderful array of bargains in all departments. We do not believe in the policy of carrying over goods from one season to another. We would rather clear them out every season, hence the reason for tlie unmistakeable bargains that n ill be offered at the summer &ale, Te Aro House, Wellington.
