One mile and three furlongs. — Wandsworth, 1 ; Paris, 2 ; Affiance, 3. Time, 2min 24^gec. Wanganui, January 26 . The following nominations have been received by the Wanganui Jockey Club for their approaching meeting : — First Handicap Hurdles, of 100 soys ; two miles and a quarter. — Rough, Pyramus, Hiamoe, Couranto, Somnambulist, Waterbury, Waterfall, Commotion, Viola 11., Empire, Jacob, Whalebone. Second Handicap Hurdles; about two miles and a distance. — Same as First Handicap Hurdles. Welter Handicap, of 60 soys; one mile. — Swordbelt, Cruiser, Hiamoe, The Dreamer, Pyramns, Turehu, Couranto, Viola 11., Durus, Phormium Teuax, St. Malo, Paradox, Musket, Empire, Lady Leger, Torpedo. Corinthian Handicap, of 60 soys ; one mile and a half. — Hiamoe, Pyramus, Turehu, Couranto, Phormium Tenax, St. Malo, Empire, Lady Leger. Chbistchubch, January 27. Mr D. O'Brien left for Australia to-day, taking with him Florrie, Freedom, and Freeman. Mr G. G. Stead will probably send a team of horses across to Australia early next week.
