[UNITED PItESS ASSOCIATION. ! London, January 11. Mr W. B. Perceval, Agent-General for New Zealand, in a letter to The Times ably expounds and defends New Zealand taxation. He denies that the taxation of foreign capital has increased, except in instances where the money has been invested in large areas of unimproved land. Mr Perceval traverses statements in an article published by that paper on Novembei 9, and denies that it is the intention of the New Zealand Government to make loan companies or banks conducting legitimate business pay more than formerly.
