iFBOM OUB OWN CORRESPONDENT.] A most successful ball was held in the Birmingham Town Hall on Friday evening last. About forty couples thoroughly enjoyed themselves until the small hours of the morning. Mr Anyon provided the refreshments, and they were all that could be desired. I hear that the Wesleyan Sunday School picnic is to be held on Wednesday, January 13, and a concert in the evening, when the children are to receive their prizes. T. A. Bryce, Esq., will occupy the chair. Grass-seed cutting has commenced here, but good men are scarce.
