An impounding notice appear? to-day. A lost chestnut mare is advertised for. A piano is advertised for sale. Apply at Star office. Mr W. G. Haybittle advertises for a competent assistant. Mr Tripe, dentist, will yisit Feiiding on the 13th and 14th inst. A notice anent the amended tolls charged at the Gorge road toll-gate is published to-day. Entries for Messrs Freeman E.. Jackson and Co.'s sale at Feiiding on Thursday (he 14th instant, are published to-day. Notice is given to«day that all horses or cattle found trespassing on the road j fronting sections No. 1 and 2, Taonui road and Reids Line, will be impounded. Mr John Bishop advertises a great clearing sale now on. Everything will be sold cheap because Mr Bishop has to giye up the shop to a new tenant on the 16th lust.
