(per pkess association London, December 15. The wool sales closed to-day, biddings being fairly spirited up to" the end. 111.000 bales were sojd for the Continent, 9000 for America, 66,000 for Home consumption, and 5000 were held over. Compared with the opening prices superior merino and crossbreds were a trifle higher. Very burry sorts were easier, ami others were unchanged. On the whole the prices have been irregular.
